I think of myself as a Tomodachi of Japan, because since my family hosted our first Japanese exchange student, when I was just 9 years old, I have been in love with the Japanese language and culture. When I turned 15 and was finally old enough to go on exchange, I lived in Japan as an exchange student for one year. Ever since then, I knew that all I wanted to do, was pass on my passion and love for this beautiful country and culture. I am lucky to have now been a Japanese language teacher for the past 12 years ❤️🇯🇵
