After maybe 15 visits to Japan I am completely addicted. My love affair started when I was a 9 year old girl and my father had a business colleague from Hiroshima visit and from that day I knew I had to visit Japan…it took another 15 years before I could do that on a university study tour for design.
I now learn the language, my son has learned the language and I feel like I have a strong connection to Japan. I have made many friends in Japan and always meet amazing people. I feel like I am a tomodachi, and so many I meet are special tomodachi!
